We live in a world that constantly tells us to sacrifice more in order to ‘earn’ rest and enjoy our time.

The problem with that?

Time is your most valuable asset and once gone, you can’t get it back.

So yes, have goals, ambitions and dreams. Work hard for them. Push yourself.

But don’t sacrifice so much of the present that you forget to actually live it.

Appreciate the precious moments along the way. Celebrate the small wins. Be present enough to enjoy the life you’re building.

Because the goal matters, but so does everything that happens on the way there.

And sometimes we forget…

That is your life. ❤️

Some special moments from my week:
1. Celebratory drinks with my good friend and client sian dennis🍸
2. A beautiful chicken, feta and peach salad cooked by my gorgeous gals and Michelle Ayling 🥗
3. 4 steady miles, and so grateful my body is able to do that. ❤️‍🩹
4. Training with Grandpa, making sure his later years are lived well. 🥹
5. A really impressive Thai green chicken curry, thanks to my beautiful mum for the recipe.
6. A wonderful fruity strawberry matcha from my favs at MiLK & BEAN®. ☕️
7. Taking some time with and Michelle Ayling to experience a once in a generation eclipse. 🌒
8. Hyrox training with my inspirational training partner Magee Wraight, so proud of us for doing this! 🔥
9. More hyrox training with the machine and all round BOSS that is Lisa Mullings. 💪
10. Some down time researching places in Porto for next month! 🥂
11. Some more great recipes, a tuna salad with wonderful organic extra virgin olive oil from Spain, thank you Mum and Dad. 🙏
12. Saturday night with a new go to recipe, a chicken and chorizo paella, thanks to the one and only Simon Gordon for the recipe. 🥘

I would love to know, what you’ve been grateful for this week? 🙏😊

What an absolutely wholesome first week back. 🫶

SO many wins, so many people pushing for more and SO blessed every single day that this is now my reality.

I will never take for granted the privilege I have in people trusting me, watching their confidence evolve and seeing them grow, regardless of age or any other variable.

All movement counts and it’s ALWAYS worth it. 💪

Some wins for the week:
1. My 90 year old moving onto the trap bar deadlift, picking it up off the floor independently. 🔥
2. Working through a strength phase and achieving a 145kg back squat, 5kg to go!
3. picking 30kg up off the floor when 2 months ago we were under 10kg, SO proud of you. 💪🫶
4. 2 runs for the week, maintaining consistency. 🔥
5. Making time for decompression, mostly at - always grateful to you all for providing that space. 🫶🫶🫶

Here’s to a chilled weekend, and excited for what we will achieve next week! 💥😘

🔥 Wear those shorts! 🔥

Today is going down as one of my proudest days since starting Ben Marshall Fitness, and here’s why. This picture captures everything I stand for as a fitness professional, and I couldn’t be prouder of this woman.

Meet Sian. 🔥💪💅

Just 3 months ago Sian was in a hospital bed, struggling to even sit-to-stand, and was discharged on Christmas Day after weeks as an inpatient. She didn’t recognise herself.

She came to me only 5 weeks ago, wanting to rebuild her strength - but most importantly, to reclaim confidence in her body. She told me she hadn’t worn shorts for over 6 months because of an insensitive comment.

Well, today, all of that changed. I will never forget that beautiful moment she came strutting into the gym, the sun shining, and the shorts ON!! ☀️🩳

That represented so much more than I can put into words. It reminded me why I silenced that voice telling me to cover my legs years ago, why I chose to be unapologetically me, and why I fight to help others feel the same.

The shorts are a symbol.

A symbol of courage, resilience, and self-belief. The choice to show up for herself, celebrate her body, and embrace who she is—strong, unstoppable, and unapologetically herself.

And that’s life changing.

Sian, thank you for letting me support your journey. Your determination, trust, and heart are nothing short of inspiring. I am SO proud of you. ❤️🙏 ❤️🙏

As a strength coach, I’m lucky to work with so many incredible women every day. On this International Women’s Day, I just want to take a moment to recognise the strength, resilience, and determination I see in my clients week after week.

For many women, stepping into the gym can still feel intimidating. But the women I coach show up anyway — pushing past doubts, lifting heavier than they thought possible, building confidence, and proving that strength looks different for everyone.

My role isn’t just to coach reps and sets. It’s to create a space where women feel supported, respected, and empowered to take up space in the gym.

Today is a reminder that fitness should be accessible, inclusive, and empowering for all women — not just today, but every day.

To all the women I work with: thank you for trusting me to be part of your journey. Your strength inspires me more than you probably realise.

Happy International Women’s Day. 💜

🎉🥳 Ben Marshall Fitness turns 1!! 🎉🥳

I have no words to express my gratitude to each and every one of you for all the encouragement, support, and to my incredible clients.

Thank you, you’ve changed my life forever.

Taking a leap of faith a year ago, leaving behind a toxic corporate world for a life centred around helping people learn to love themselves, was the best decision I’ve ever made. And it wouldn’t have happened without all of you.

I’m here to change the world of fitness. I believe success isn’t measured by the number on the scale - it’s measured by the number on the barbell.

This past year I’ve watched people hit countless achievements, from deadlifting a weight they thought wasn’t possible, to reducing pain, improving their quality of life and completely changing the way they see themselves.

One of the many highlights include when a client told me ‘I like my legs’ and ‘since seeing you I realise this version of me was brave enough to start and I love her’.

Another client told me she no longer needs a liver biopsy following recent blood results.

Another one has said she feels seen since coming to me, as previous healthcare professionals haven’t treated her holistically and have made assumptions about her health/ability due to her weight.

We lift to stay strong into old age.

We lift to keep living life on our terms.

We lift to build confidence, resilience and mental wellbeing.

But most of all…

It’s watching people learn to love themselves again. Realising they are enough exactly as they are, and that they’re capable of far more than they ever believed possible.

It’s helping people understand they can live a life without restriction, guilt around food, calorie counting, or body checking.

And if this past year has taught me anything, it’s that together we’re capable of far more than we ever think.

Year 1 down.

Now we keep getting stronger - together. 🫶🫶🫶

🫶 THANK YOU 🫶

3.5 years. 100s of classes. And a whole lot of love. ❤️

I’ll always be grateful for the choice I made 3.5 years ago - the one that felt scary and uncomfortable at the time but ended up changing my life forever.

My Bodypump teaching journey.

From the teenager who was picked last in P.E, confused about his identity and hiding his body to the young adult doing endless hours of cardio just trying to ‘fit’ a body ideal.

Everything changed the day I picked up a barbell.

Slowly, the focus shifted from what I weighed and how I looked, to how much I could lift and how I felt. And that feeling - strong, capable, empowered - was something I knew I wanted to share.

Little did I know, standing on that stage for the first time, headset on, barbell in hand and nerves racing, that you all had something to share too.

Love, pride, passion, energy, enthusiasm, warmth, encouragement.

So thank you, to every person who shared sweat, smiles and strength with me, who trusted me to guide them and pushed through the hard moments, you’ve helped me grow more than you know.

And thank you to the 15 year old me, who was brave enough to keep pushing through uncertainty, keep working on himself, and keep growing.

I think he’d be proud of the man he’s become. 🙏
