💉 Why Shouldn’t You Take Ibuprofen After Injectable Treatments?

If you’ve recently had anti-wrinkle injections or dermal fillers, you may want to avoid reaching for ibuprofen afterward.

Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that can thin the blood and reduce platelet function. This may increase your risk of:

For most patients, mild tenderness after treatment is completely normal and usually settles within a few days. If you need pain relief please get in touch and I can advise you on what to take.
