Being sore isn’t the same as making progress btw 👀
You can barely walk after a workout and still have trained badly.
You can also wake up feeling completely fine after a session that gave your muscles exactly what they needed to grow.
Soreness is often caused by doing something new, increasing volume or using movements your body isn’t used to.
It isn’t a reliable measure of how effective your workout was!
A better measure?
Quality ex*****on.
Controlled reps.
Progressive overload.
Improved performance.
Consistent training over time.
👆This is EXACTLY why I tell my clients to LOG SESSIONS!!
The aim isn’t to destroy yourself every session. It’s to create enough stimulus to progress, recover and do it again.
Stop chasing pain. Start chasing performance. 📈
