✨ Meet the Team ✨

Today we’d like to introduce you to Claire.

Claire joined the team at Counties Crematorium in June this year as one of our Crematorium Assistants. Since joining us, she has become a valued member of the team, helping to ensure every family and their loved one are treated with the utmost care and dignity.

Claire’s role includes collecting the deceased for direct cremations, assisting during services in the chapel, and supporting families throughout their visit. She will soon be training to become a Cremation Technician, continuing to expand her knowledge and skills within the crematorium.

We are delighted to have Claire as part of the Counties Crematorium team and look forward to supporting her as she progresses in her new role. 💚

Today, on the International Day of Friendship, we celebrate the strength of connection.

Friendship is often found in the gentle moments, a listening ear, a shared memory, or the reassurance of someone who understands.

As we mark this day, we invite you to pause and reflect on the friendships that have brought warmth, comfort, or peace into your life.

👉 For anyone who would like to, you're welcome to share or tag the name of a friend who has made a difference to you.

May today be a gentle reminder of the power of compassion, kindness and the connections that carry us through.

We were so touched to receive this lovely thank you card from a wonderful family.

Our Memorial Consultant, Danni, had the privilege of helping them lay their loved one to rest and supporting them in choosing a lasting memorial. Knowing that we have been able to provide comfort and guidance during such a difficult time means so much to us.

Thank you for your kind words and for allowing us to be part of such an important journey. 💚

From all of us at Counties Crematorium.

Butterflies are often seen as symbols of hope, transformation and remembrance, bringing moments of comfort when we least expect them. Whether you believe they carry a special meaning or simply enjoy seeing them flutter through the garden, there's no denying the sense of peace they can bring 🦋

Inspired by their beauty, we're proud to offer a selection of butterfly memorials, each designed to create a lasting tribute in memory of someone special. Whether you're looking to enhance an existing memorial garden, create a new place of remembrance, or choose a meaningful piece for your own garden at home, we have a range of beautiful options to suit many preferences.

If you'd like to find out more about our butterfly memorials or discuss the options available, our team would be delighted to help. Please don't hesitate to get in touch 🤍

🌿 Poem of the Week 🌿

This week we have chosen the beautiful and comforting poem “As I Sit in Heaven.”

For anyone who is missing a loved one, we hope these heartfelt words bring a moment of peace, comfort, and reflection. Sometimes a poem can say the things our hearts struggle to express and remind us that love never truly leaves us.

With warmest thoughts,

From all the team at Counties Crematorium 💚

We offer a broad range of memorial urns and caskets, each designed to provide a meaningful and lasting tribute. For those looking for something both natural and beautifully personalised, our ringmer casket is a wonderful choice.

Crafted from solid bamboo with a natural satin lacquer finish, the ringmer casket combines simplicity with elegance. Its smooth, rounded edges, concealed opening and seamless design create a timeless keepsake that is as beautiful to hold as it is to display.

The lid and both long sides can be personalised, allowing you to create a unique tribute that celebrates the life and memories of your loved one.
