Dear patients,

After we refer you to hospitals or specialist outpatient services, we are finding that these referrals are being rejected. We seek further hospital and specialist input or alternative support as this provides further support that we feel necessary for your care.

It is often unsafe for referrals to be rejected, or to only receive advisory responses where face-to-face assessments are clinically required. Decisions about your care should always prioritise patient safety and clinical judgement.

Please be assured that we continually raise our concerns about the local NHS system through the appropriate channels to ensure access to the care you need.

Dear Patients,

The practice receives between16-40% more triage requests on Monday than on any other weekday. High triage demand may require removing a GP from clinics to respond to the high volume of requests.

If you do not feel your clinical request needs attention on the same day, please consider submitting your requests later on in the week. Thank you for your understanding.

- an adult aged 75 years and over (by 30 June 2026)
- a resident in a care home for older adults
- aged 6 months and over who have a weakened immune system

You are eligible for a COVID vaccination at the practice. Please contact the surgery to confirm your place on our clinics on the 6th and 7th of May.
