Mental Health Awareness Week

You don’t have to have it all together all the time. Some days are heavier than others, and that’s okay.

Rest when you need to. Speak kindly to yourself. Celebrate the small wins. Give yourself the same compassion you so easily give to others.

Healing isn’t always straightforward, and strength doesn’t always look loud. Sometimes strength is simply making it through the day.

Be gentle with yourself — you’re doing better than you think.

Desperately in need of a bit of YOU time…?

Come and join myself and Alex from Living Balance for this restorative, peaceful and rejuvenating evening event.

We’ll begin with a relaxing sound bath in the private yoga studio at Soul Chai Nottingham, which will soothe the mind and body into a restful state through music, guided expertly by Alex.

We’ll then move upstairs to the cafe for some casual and informal networking and conversation, or even some personal journaling if you’d prefer, and some delicious fresh chai and nibbles too 😋

Expect a warm, cosy and comforting space for you to take off those multiple hats, put down those various juggling balls, and return to yourself, even just for an hour or two.

Such a lovely surprise to receive these beautiful flowers from Clare 🌸

One thing I truly believe in is supporting other hypnotherapists, not competing with them. We all have different strengths and specialisms, and Clare does incredible work helping children and young people — which is why I’m always happy to refer clients to her when needed.

At the end of the day, it’s about making sure people get the right support from the right person 🤍

You do not need to rush into the week proving your worth. You do not need to push past exhaustion to be productive. And you do not need to criticise yourself for needing space, rest, or time.

Today’s client came in struggling with strong sugar cravings — something so many people quietly deal with 🍬

We began with EFT (tapping) to reduce the intensity of the cravings and calm the nervous system. Once that urgency softened, we moved into hypnosis to start reshaping the patterns underneath — creating more supportive thoughts around food, balance, and healthier habits.

By the end, the shift was noticeable. Less pull, more calm, and a sense of being back in control rather than fighting it.
If you’re stuck in that cycle of cravings, it’s not about a lack of willpower — it’s often something deeper that your mind has learned over time. The good news is, those patterns can change.
