The croquet and putting season has officially begun at Grove Place! ⛳🌿

We’re delighted to announce that both our croquet and putting lawns are now open and ready to be enjoyed by our residents. A huge thank you goes to our dedicated gardening team, who have worked tirelessly to prepare the lawns. Their care, perseverance and hard work have ensured the spaces are in wonderful condition and ready for the season ahead.

As the warmer days arrive, there’s no better way to enjoy the benefits of fresh air, gentle exercise and time outdoors with friends. Whether it’s a friendly game of croquet or a relaxed round of putting, these much-loved activities are a wonderful way to stay active and make the most of village life at Grove Place. ☀️

There was a wonderful sense of calm and nostalgia at Grove Place as we welcomed talented harpist Millie to perform for our residents 🎶

The gentle, soothing tones of the harp created a truly magical atmosphere, sparking memories and bringing moments of reflection, joy and relaxation to everyone who attended. Music has a powerful way of connecting us and this special performance is just one part of our ongoing programme of events, designed to enrich daily life at Grove Place through music, creativity and meaningful experiences.

We’re already looking forward to the next performance.

Spring has truly sprung at Grove Place, and our kitchen garden allotments are thriving thanks to the dedication of our resident gardeners. 🌱🌸

To help protect their hard work from some very curious local deer, we’ve installed bespoke protective frames around the allotment beds — keeping our heritage tomatoes, sweet peas and seasonal produce safe while still allowing plenty of sunshine and rain through.

As General Manager Nicolae Seulean shared: “Seeing the passion our residents have for cultivation is inspiring, and it was important to us that their efforts were properly safeguarded.”

We can’t wait to enjoy another colourful and bountiful harvest from our beautiful gardens this season. 🍅🦌
