Throwback Thursday - At Grove Place, community is at the heart of everything we do. ❤️

Our recent Staff vs Residents Darts Tournament was a fantastic reminder of the special bonds that make our community so unique. With plenty of friendly competition, laughter and good-natured rivalry, the event brought everyone together for an enjoyable afternoon. It was a closely-fought contest with staff victorious 8 - 6.

Activities like these are about much more than winning or losing – they create opportunities for connection, conversation and shared experiences between residents and staff. Building these relationships helps foster a warm, supportive environment where everyone feels valued and part of the Grove Place family.

🐝🍯 A sweet milestone for Grove Place! 🌿

A gentle buzz of excitement first arrived at Grove Place when we welcomed our very own honeybees to the meadows of our beautiful village. Thanks to the dedication of our gardener, Sean, who completed a beekeeping course, our hives have flourished – and we're delighted to share that we've now harvested our very first batch of Grove Place honey! 🍯

Our busy bees have been hard at work pollinating the flowers, trees and meadows across our stunning grounds, helping to support local biodiversity while creating something truly special for our community.

This first harvest is a wonderful achievement and a reflection of our commitment to sustainability, wellbeing and embracing the simple pleasures of countryside living. From caring for our natural environment to creating opportunities for residents to connect with nature, it's another example of what makes life at Grove Place so unique.

Here's to many more sweet harvests to come! 🐝💛

The excitement of the Football World Cup Final is here, and at LifeCare Residences we'll be gathering together to enjoy all the action, drama and unforgettable moments on the big screen! ⚽🏆

Sport has a wonderful way of bringing people together, sparking conversations, sharing memories and creating new ones. For many of our residents, football has been a lifelong passion, and continuing to enjoy hobbies and interests that have been part of our lives for years is so important for wellbeing, connection and happiness.

Whether you're cheering on your favourite team, discussing the latest results or simply enjoying the atmosphere with friends, the World Cup is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the things we love.

☀️ What a wonderful day at our Annual Summer Garden Party! 🌸🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this year's Summer Garden Party at Grove Place such a fantastic success.

It was a truly memorable afternoon, filled with laughter, great company and a wonderful atmosphere that perfectly reflected the strong sense of community that makes Grove Place so special. It was lovely to see residents, families, friends and guests all coming together to enjoy the celebrations.

A special thank you goes to our incredible resident volunteers. Your enthusiasm, hard work and dedication behind the scenes – and on the day itself – played a huge part in making the event such a success. ♥️

To everyone who came along, thank you for being part of such a special occasion. Community events like these remind us that the best moments are those we share together, creating friendships, lasting memories and a real sense of belonging.

The excitement is building as Wimbledon reaches its thrilling finale! 🎾🌿

At LifeCare Residences, we'll be gathering together to watch the Wimbledon Finals, enjoying the action, cheering on our favourite players, and sharing refreshments with friends.😀

Events like these are a wonderful opportunity for residents to come together, enjoy great company, and be part of one of the UK's most loved sporting traditions.
