ACCORD is looking for an experienced and compassionate Deputy IPU Manager to join our In-Patient Unit team in Paisley. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with palliative care experience to provide clinical leadership, support service development, and help deliver outstanding person-centred care for patients and families with complex needs.

We have a variety of amazing stalls and prizes up for grabs - come along, try your luck and support your local hospice 🥰

What an incredible achievement! 🎉

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff and pupils of Mary Russell School for organising a fantastic sweetie tablet sale and raising an amazing £220 for ACCORD Hospice.

Your enthusiasm, generosity, and community spirit are truly inspiring. Every pound raised will help us continue providing compassionate care and support to patients and families when they need it most.

VOLUNTEERS WEEK - DAY 5 ✨🥰🎉

Today we’re highlighting the amazing work of our fundraising volunteers ❤️ They play a vital role in the success of every ACCORD event. Always full of enthusiasm, they support our busy events, engage with the local community, and help bring everything together - from bucket collections to all the behind-the-scenes work that makes each event such a success!

We asked Sandra what volunteering with ACCORD means to her...

"Being a volunteer is like giving a present to someone , it gives you a warm feeling in your heart. ACCORD is not just about the beds in the Hospice, we work in the community and anyone can help in many ways; volunteer at events like Art Exhibition, music nights, Ladies Day , collection cans, Christmas and Summer Fayres - the list is endless! Use your skills to help office work, gardening, helping at the Chatter Matters and Craft group activities. It’s like working without the pressure!"
