Grounds Update
We know that the condition of our grounds in recent months has fallen well below the standard you should expect from us, and we recognise that we have let families and visitors down. We also understand that an apology on its own isn’t enough. You need to see action and a visible improvement.
Over the coming weeks, we will therefore be carrying out significant work across the site to restore the grounds to the standard they should always have been maintained to. We have already met with contractors, and we expect additional contractors to be working on site by the end of next week at the latest. They will work systematically across the grounds, tackling weeds, edging and turning over beds, and restoring areas that have not received the attention they deserve.
We are also increasing our permanent team on site, with a new full-time team member joining us this week and a further team member joining the following week. Alongside the additional contractor support, this will give us greater capacity to address the immediate issues and, importantly, maintain the standards our families rightly expect going forward.
The outdoor water taps have also now been repaired and are fully operational for visitors.
We know many families have been frustrated and upset by the condition of the grounds, and we are truly sorry. This is a place of enormous importance to the people who visit and us, as a passionate and dedicated team.
We will share regular updates and photographs here so that you can see the progress being made.
Thank you for your patience and understanding 🌿🤍
