✨️ The British Firework Championships return to Plymouth Hoe on the 12th and 13th of August 2026.

Look to the skies above Plymouth Sound as six professional firework companies showcase their very best work and compete to become the winner, each putting on a special ten-minute display.

The winners will be announced on the morning of Friday, the 14th of August.

Join us before the competition kicks off, and soak up the vibrant atmosphere where you can enjoy the fun fair and live music from the best bands around the southwest.

✨️ It was a fantastic opportunity to speak on BBC Radio Devon about our British Sign Language (BSL) provision at Live at Powderham.

Sharing how we embed inclusion and accessibility into the festival experience was incredibly rewarding.

We are passionate about ensuring that Deaf and hard of hearing audiences can fully enjoy and engage with live events, and it was wonderful to highlight the positive impact that accessible services can have.

Raising awareness through local media helps reinforce the importance of creating welcoming, inclusive spaces where everyone feels valued and able to participate.

This role will include:
• Support clients with life choices to become independent
• Support people to develop life skills which enable them to live independently
• Accompany arranged trips and outings
• Encourage positive habits
• Provide a 1:1 befriending service to deaf, disabled and elderly people
• Support with work or returning to work
• Provide support in building positive mental health practices
• Support with creating a shopping list and going shopping
• Support with ensuring the home is habitable
