We’re looking for patients who are interested in sharing their views, ideas and experiences to join our Patient Participation Group (PPG).

The PPG is a great opportunity to:

The DESTIGMATISE Study is exploring experiences and perceptions of prostate cancer within Black communities in the UK. Researchers are keen to hear from Black men and their families to help break down stigma and improve awareness.

Critical Infrastructure is the name given to all
of the different essential services which we rely
on as part of modern society and the economy.
The UK’s critical infrastructure is made up of
electricity, water, gas, oil / fuel, transport,
telecoms, food, health and financial services. During extreme weather, there is a risk that power cuts can happen, and this can have a knock on effect on other services. The vulnerable and elderly should register with the public utility companies who will attempt to prioritise them if their services are affected by the weather. From Monday 22nd June, our online triage system (Accurx) – used for submitting appointment requests and medical queries – will be available:

Monday to Friday, 7.00am - 6.30pm (excluding bank holidays).

This change helps ensure all requests are reviewed and acted on safely by our clinical team on the day, reducing the risk of delays.


When triage is closed, please use:


✅ NHS 111 (online or phone) for urgent advice

✅ Urgent Treatment / Walk-in Centres for minor illness or injury

✅ A&E / 999 for emergencies
