The UK government is looking at commercial sunbeds as part of efforts to reduce skin cancer rates.
Personally, I think we should be asking a bigger question:
Should commercial sunbeds be banned altogether?
Using a sunbed before the age of 35 can increase your risk of melanoma by up to 75%.
The World Health Organization classifies sunbeds as a Group 1 carcinogen, the same category as to***co smoke and asbestos.
Australia banned commercial sunbeds years ago.
Should the UK do the same?
