๐Ÿ’™ Menโ€™s Cancer Awareness ๐Ÿ’™

Cancer can affect anyone, and looking after your health starts with paying attention to changes in your body.

For men, some of the more common cancers include prostate, testicular, bowel and lung cancer.

Things like a change when going to the toilet, a lump or swelling, blood where you wouldn't expect it, unexplained weight loss, or a cough that won't go away are worth getting checked.

It might be nothing serious, but it's always better to get it checked than to ignore it.

๐Ÿ’™ Talk about your health

When was the last time you checked your blood pressure? ๐Ÿฉบ

We all keep an eye on things like our phones, diaries and bank balances, but itโ€™s easy to forget about our blood pressure.

This Know Your Numbers! Week, weโ€™re encouraging people across Redditch to take a few minutes to check theirs.

High blood pressure usually has no symptoms, so you may not know you have it. Checking your blood pressure can help you find out if itโ€™s high and take action if needed.

You can check your blood pressure at home, at your local pharmacy, or by speaking to your GP practice.

It only takes a few minutes. Why not check your numbers this week? โค๏ธ
