A number of our senior team finished their NHS weekends today till September and now start event season full time!

This week . . . . London calling! An adrenaline filled two days of two wheeled action with British Cycling ventures, UCI criterium and fundraising along the way for Great Ormond Street Hospital

In fact most of our month is London based with some amazing large scale concerts with a few Oxfordshire days as well

When you get a “help” call from a NHS Trust who are struggling with capacity and need some discharge support not only did we deliver a Patient Transport Service but also due to skill mix on a HDU service that saved a Nurse es**rt and preserved a vital asset!

We’ve been a little quiet of late as it’s been all hands to deck working with our Landlord on our upgraded operational base ahead of what is set to be our busiest summer yet along with onboarding personnel of all grades

Our Events Lead has been busy writing EMPs / risk assessments whilst our Medical Director and Clinical
lead have been busy developing pathways, updating / reviewing policies as well as all being involved in system health calls and ICB meetings / SAG meetings.

With a Team out this BH weekend we jump into June at a relatively calm sedate pace with a much valued client and supporting increased footfall at their venue and end it on the grass 65000 sold out capacity crowd in a bustling City - it then only ramps up as we head into July / August and September! 🌅

London calling . . . . Our team are expanding into London with some events in June / July including two wheeled high adrenaline cycling to larger festivals and we are opening our books to Responders and HCPs based Centrally or on the outskirts of the City

Taking a couple of weeks away from the event world to complete our operational base transformation
- new office layout creating more open and user friendly space
- vehicle storage and additional charging points
- stores upgrade
- enhanced security

We are so lucky to work with an amazing Company / landlord committed to sustainability, bringing local businesses together and providing additional spaces we can utilise for meetings / trainings / gatherings all in a stunning rural location.

It’s been a journey over the years from a small start up in a little office / operational base to then a move to our current home. Only made possible by the team who deliver at every event and showcase our capability and commitment to delivering outstanding care and innovative solutions for pre-hospital events and also a highly experienced hands on Director passionate about raising standards in the Industry supported by an incredibly capable senior leadership team

However the work does not stop with continual recruitment, event medical plan submissions, SAGs and tabletops, ICB EPR touch points, deep cleans, kit checks, consumable top ups etc

It’s a rapid turn around for some of our team and vehicles from the glitz and glamour of red carpet life in London to a bank holiday weekend with a long standing client at a large capacity venue supporting their increased footfall of guests for the Bank Holiday weekend

Another trip into London for us tomorrow this time supporting a prestigious awards ceremony alongside a trusted industry partner.

It’s been a busy week so far
- 3 Safety advisory groups on one day
- Event medical plans submitted
- Onboarding and rostering people
- fleet safety checks and deep cleans
- London trips / meetings
for some of the team for events later in the year
- watching our premises refurbishment come together

Festival season is well and truly round the corner 🌅😍

Feedback Friday . . .

This time not from a service user but instead a new working by partnership with an event organiser for this year and all being well many years to come

Our team always strive to deliver on care, staffing, command and control, safety, infrastructure as well as being cost effective recognising the challenge of cost pressure organisers face whilst also us as a Company being a living wage payer and valuing talent
