What an incredible first day at the New Forest Show! 💚

Today, Wild Equestrian had the privilege of sponsoring two fantastic classes – the Retraining of Racehorses (ROR) class in the Main Ring and the Mountain & Moorland Junior class in the Showing Ring. Two HOYS qualifiers.
Presenting the prizes, seeing our Wild Equestrian banner displayed, and meeting so many lovely people throughout the day was such a proud moment for me and my business.
Thank you to everyone who stopped to chat, congratulated us, or scanned our QR code. Your support means so much, and it was wonderful to be part of such a prestigious event.
Congratulations to all of the competitors and winners—you all looked fantastic!

✨ A Day in the Life at Wild Equestrian ✨
Some days are busy from start to finish, but I wouldn't have it any other way! 💚🐴
Today's jobs included: 💆‍♀️ Welcoming a new massage client. 🐎 Looking after all the horses at the yard. 🌳 Hacking Clifford out with his lovely owners. 🏇 Even enjoying a ba****ck ride on one of their other ponies!
But today's biggest achievement has to be...

To some it may seem like a small milestone, but when you're building trust with a horse, moments like this mean absolutely everything. Patience, consistency and understanding really do pay off. 💚
Every day is different, and that's exactly why I love what I do.

After a busy few weeks, I now have a limited number of livery spaces available.
At Wild Equestrian, I offer a calm, professional environment where every horse receives truly individual care. I believe in quality over quantity, taking the time to get to know each horse and tailoring their routine to their specific needs.
✨ Spaces available for: • Rehabilitation Livery • Schooling Livery • Holiday Livery (limited availability)
Whether your horse is returning from injury, needs bringing back into work, is ready to begin their ridden career, or simply needs experienced, reliable care while you're away, I'd love to help.

As a qualified Equine Sports & Rehabilitation Massage Therapist, I can also incorporate massage therapy into your horse's programme where appropriate, supporting recovery, comfort and performance.

Something very exciting has arrived in the post today... our New Forest Show members' passes and guest tickets! 🥹🎉
Now it's really starting to feel real!

💚 The best way to start the day ...

Every morning, before they can even see me, I call out "Morning!" as I walk through the field,
Within seconds, I hear two sets of hooves and see these two cantering over to meet me. 🐴🐴
It's one of those little moments that never gets old.
The bond we build with our horses isn't created in one big moment—it's built through the everyday routines. Showing up, caring for them, and spending time together, day after day.
These are the moments that remind me why I love what I do. Every horse here gets treated as my own amd building trust is so important

A little update from us...

I just wanted to let everyone know that if my replies are a little slower than usual over the next few days, it's because our little boy, Atlas, was unexpectedly admitted to hospital yesterday.
As you can imagine, my focus right now is entirely on being with him and my family while he receives the care he needs.
I also want to say how utterly grateful we are for the incredible support we've received from our family, friends and everyone around us. Your kindness means more than you'll ever know. A special thank you to those who have stepped in to look after the horses this morning, allowing me to be by Atlas's side where I need to be. We are so lucky to have such wonderful people around us.
I'll reply to messages, enquiries and bookings as soon as I'm able, and I truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this difficult time.

🐴 Growing up around horses... there's no better classroom. ❤️

One of the things I love most about running my own yard is that my children get to be part of it too.
This afternoon, Tallulah was keen to help by skipping out and resetting the stables before enjoying some time in the saddle on her pony, Serena. It's lovely watching her confidence grow, not just as a little rider, but by learning that caring for horses starts long before you climb into the saddle.
Around here, horse care isn't just about riding. It's about mucking out, filling haynets, checking water, giving horses plenty of turnout and making sure their needs always come first.
Those everyday jobs teach responsibility, kindness and respect for the animals we love.
Wild Equestrian is very much a family-run business, and I hope my children grow up with the same love and appreciation for horses that I have.
There's nothing better than seeing the next generation making memories at the yard. 💚🐴

🌿 Adapting routines for the horses always comes first. 🐴

With the recent warm weather, George and Serena have now moved onto a night turnout routine so they can enjoy the cooler temperatures while still making the most of the beautiful grazing.
Today we also fenced off a larger paddock for them to enjoy, along with giving the water trough a good scrub and fresh water ready for the evening.
Sometimes it's the little jobs behind the scenes that make the biggest difference.
At Wild Equestrian, I believe good horse care is about adapting to each horse's needs and the conditions around us. Whether that's changing turnout times during a heatwave, introducing horses to new environments gradually, or tailoring exercise programmes, every decision is made with the horse's welfare at the heart of it.
Seeing George and Serena so relaxed and content in their new field makes all the hard work worthwhile. 💚
