Sadly the Institute has been the victim of fraud. A fake 10 note was tendered to us in the last 4 weeks. Apparently there are quite a few about. The hologram is badly affixed and the printing is not of high quality. Unfortunately it was not spotted until we took it for banking, So watch out all!

Teas in theInstitute today are baked and served by St Alkelda’s Church, Giggleswick. Its Open Gardens in the village including Langcliffe Hall and Maureen’s Garden plant stall is open too… What a great way to spend a Sunday!

Langcliffe Village Institute teas on 12th July will be the first one held by St Mary's and St Michael's Catholic Church in Settle. This is instead of their Summer fair.
Treat yourself to something savoury and sweet for a good cause.
Raffle prizes and tombola.
