Celebrating with family this weekend, and this lovely article has given us another reason to smile.

I'm delighted to be completing my specialist C-section scar therapy training this month, with my final sign-off due at the end of July.

Many women are told that once their scar has healed, that's the end of the story. But scars can continue to affect the tissues underneath for many years.

These photos show the immediate change following treatment on a C-section scar that was over 10 years old during my supervised training.

Scar therapy may help improve tissue mobility, release restrictions and, in some cases, soften the appearance of a C-section shelf or overhang.
