This afternoon we were delighted to welcome the wonderful team from Owl Obsession UK back to The Hayes 🦉

Everyone had such a lovely afternoon meeting these beautiful birds, but we all fell in love with Henry the adorable 12 week old owl ❤️

We always look forward to our owl visits, and we can't wait for the next one. The photos really do say it all 😍 📸

🎉 What a fantastic morning here at The Hayes 🎉

Today we proudly celebrated the launch of The Hayes Herald. Created by our wonderful residents. ❤️ 📰

We enjoyed browsing the newspaper while tucking into the delicious lemon cake and shortbread made yesterday at our baking session 🍋🍰

We also gave a warm welcome to our new mascot Hetty The Hayes Heifer, who got everyone up dancing the Hokey Cokey 🐄 💃

To finish the celebrations, The Hayes Happiness Choir performed some of their favourite songs in those colourful new tie dye t-shirts 🎶 🌈

A wonderful morning filled with laughter, music, friendship and community. Here's to many more editions of The Hayes Herald 💙

What a fantastic and productive afternoon here at The Hayes! 😍

Our editors had the pleasure of interviewing Care Dorsets chief executive, Chris Best, via a teams meeting for the 'Getting to know you' section of the very first edition of The Hayes Herald. Residents had compiled a range of questions, leading to an insightful and engaging hour full of great conversation. A huge thankyou to Chris for taking the time to chat to us. We finished the afternoon with another rehearsal for The Hayes Happiness Choir, putting the final touches to our performance for our very first show tomorrow. The excitement is certainly building 🎶😊

We have been busy this morning baking delicious homemade shortbread and scrumptious lemon cake, all ready for The Hayes Herald launch event tomorrow morning 🍰🍋

Come and join us tomorrow and enjoy some of our homemade goodies while celebrating the launch of our very first newspaper 🚀 📰

Wow we've jam packed this week 😂

Starting the week as we always do with Stronger for longer 💪

Tuesday we will be having a morning of baking ready for our newspaper launch event on Tuesday. We will be baking lemon cake and shortbread. 🍰🍋
Our Hayes Herald reporters will be interviewing Chris Best, Care Dorset's managing director in the afternoon. They have written a variety of questions you will find the interview in the Hayes herald. 📰

Wednesday is launch day 👏 lots of excitement building with The Hayes Happiness choirs first performance 🎶 🎵 🎤
We have owl obsession visiting on Wednesday afternoon. 🦉

Thursday is international friendship day so we will be celebrating with an afternoon tea. ☕🍰

And we finish the week with Rhymes and reminiscence a favourite here at The Hayes and our fortnightly happiness choir session. 💕

What a week. ❤️ Please come along and join us for any/all of the activities/events listed. Here at The Hayes it really is the more the merrier. 💕😘

This morning we helped Sally tick of her to do list with a trip into Yeovil 💙

Sally missed our girls shopping trip this week as she had an appointment, she was upset as she had things she wanted to do. So today we made that happen. 🛍️

Together we enjoyed a lovely coffee, a visit to the library and went on a mission to find some water guns........... Success 💦 🔫 (watch this space)

Lots of work going on behind the scenes to ensure the Herald is ready to launch on Wednesday 🚀 🗞️ this has been such an amazing community project for all at The
Hayes 😍

Please join us on Wednesday morning for our launch event, our happiness choir will be providing entertainment, there will be delicious homemade cakes and your chance to read one of the first few copies. ALL WELCOME. It will be a morning to remember. From 10.45am 😘🍰🎶🗞️
