Sun, soil and some helping hands…🌞🍃

A big thank you to Clarins and Greenfingers Charity for joining us last week for their annual volunteering day in our sensory garden. 👨‍🌾

Opened in May 2024, this beautiful space at our Sittingbourne site was specially designed as a fully accessible, therapeutic outdoor area for the children and families we support - and it continues to offer a peaceful place for play, reflection and making memories.

It was wonderful to see the team getting hands-on to help keep this special place thriving for everyone at Demelza to enjoy.

We’re so grateful for your continued support – we loved having you back! 🌸

We’re proud to share that Demelza’s new website has been named Best Designed Site at the Umbraco Awards 2026 - an international industry award.

Created in partnership with our digital agency Yoyo Design, our website was recognised for being warm, accessible and easy to use, helping families, healthcare professionals and supporters connect with Demelza more effectively.

At 2pm, James Goodman will reopen the Goodman Tree in memory of his father, Len Goodman - a meaningful way to honour and remember loved ones.

The Goodman Tree offers a unique and meaningful way to honour or celebrate someone special. By dedicating a personalised leaf, you’ll create a lasting tribute in your loved one’s name whilst making a difference to children and families who need us most.

Think you’ve got the best golf swing? 👀🏌️‍♂️ We asked around at our Demelza Golf Day…

From big swings to friendly rivalries, last month’s event at London Golf Club had it all - sunshine, laughs and a little bit of friendly competition. ⛳️

Supporters and sponsors came together for a fantastic day, raising vital funds for children with serious or life‑limiting conditions and their families.

From kick-off to a nail-biting penalty shootout, had a fantastic day at the Bromley FC annual 🏆

Our team featured players from some of our amazing corporate partners: Berkeley Group, , MSIG and NatWest, all of whom support Demelza through fundraising, volunteering and sponsorships. 🙌

After a tense penalty shootout, Judge & Priestley Solicitors, who also do some incredible fundraising for Demelza, came away as the winners.

A massive thank you to Bromley FC for organising such a fantastic day. 💙
