We're looking forward to spending this week at The Vedanta, a luxury Grade II listed retreat in Lincolnshire.

We'll be upgrading the energy management capabilities, allowing each of the Vedanta’s zones – including its 48 bedrooms – to be individually heated to its own requirements.

Temperature sensors, TRVs and occupancy sensors will all be controlled by our Building Energy Management System, to cut bills and increase guest comfort.

Check back for updates on the project’s progress!

This week our R&D team have been testing some of our long range relays and sensors.

This involves checking battery life over a long deployment period, and the accuracy of the readings over distance and through different wall materials.

The wireless sensors are perfect for buildings where our wired option isn't possible or practical to install, and our range extenders allow for increased coverage for sprawling sites and layouts.

We're always working to improve and refine our designs so we can continue to help our customers make the savings they need!

Reduce admin for village hall volunteers by combining HeatingSave and Hallmaster to handle your bookings and temperature control!

We recently attended the Village Hall Advisors Event hosted by Action with Communities in Rural England - ACRE and spoke to many volunteers. One of the main pain points was the time required to manage bookings, set temperatures and organise access.

HeatingSave takes care of temperatures, access and energy waste, while Hallmaster takes care of the booking and invoicing – making village hall management easier and more cost effective.

You can read more about the ACRE event and our integration with Hallmaster here: https://www.heatingsave.co.uk/blog/news/heatingsave-acre-village-hall-advisors-event-2026

HeatingSave attended ACRE’s Village Hall Advisors Event on 14 May 2026 and shared practical ideas for helping village halls stay warm, affordable, and energy efficient.
