Remember, remember… your eyes this Bonfire Night. 🎆

We love a good fireworks display as much as anyone, but every November we hear about eyes that got a bit too close to the action. A few simple habits keep the evening magical:

✨ Stand well back and follow the organisers' barriers
✨ Keep sparklers at arm's length, and give little ones gloves
✨ Never go back to a firework that hasn't gone off
✨ If an eye gets hurt, don't rub it or try to remove anything. Go straight to A&E

Eye tests in Watchfield this Movember: why men shouldn't skip them 👓

Is an eye test just about glasses? No. During an eye examination, our optometrists check the health of your eyes, and can sometimes spot early signs of wider health conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes.
