We had a fantastic time celebrating Halloween! 🧙‍♀️🕷️
The highlight of the party was our annual fancy dress parade, where everyone got into the Halloween spirit with some amazing and creative costumes!

A huge congratulations to our winners: Here comes the Scare Again - Trev and Olesya – fantastic effort!

We're so proud to have taken part in the 2026 Arts in Care Homes Swindon Community Art Project! The residents were part of something truly special, joining other care homes to create one amazing collaborative jigsaw, celebrating creativity, connection and art. We really enjoyed the great reveal of the completed installation at New College Swindon Queens Drive. A huge thank you to Julia for organising this wonderful initiative and to Wentworth Wooden Puzzles for their generous puzzle donations (we love the special shapes). Well done everyone, it looks spectacular!

We are delighted to be a part of the Scarecrow Trail again! Behind our installation, there was so much more than meets the eye — time, effort, planning, creativity, and plenty of teamwork. Although this kind of activity might not traditionally be something our older generation would choose themselves, the residents were happy to get involved, share their ideas, be part of something happening in the wider community and bring some joy to our youngest neighbours. Come and visit our Sir Scare-a-Lot! 🎃

Our team had the opportunity to take part in Carying with Confidence session provided by our local funeral directors. It focused on respect, dignity and understanding grief when supporting residents and their loved ones during end of life care. Thank you A E Smith & Son for helping us grow in confidence and continue to make a difference when it matters most.
