I'm excited to share TWO fantastic pop-up sessions coming before the end of the year!

Both run alongside our usual FREE drop-in, and EVERYONE is welcome!

💷 WEDNESDAY 11TH NOVEMBER – PARENT FINANCIAL ADVICE

We're welcoming Financial Adviser Olivia Zieba for a friendly session about navigating family finances.

Whether you're expecting, preparing for maternity leave, considering returning to work or thinking about saving for your children's future, Olivia will be on hand to answer questions and offer guidance.

🚑 WEDNESDAY 9TH DECEMBER – INFANT & CHILD FIRST AID

We're delighted to welcome Frances from FS 1st Aid Training back for another potentially lifesaving session!

Covering:
⭐ Infant choking
⭐ Infant & child CPR
⭐ Allergy response

FREE to attend, with optional £15 hands-on training to practise CPR and choking techniques, plus receive a certificate and emergency prompt card.

Perfect for parents, grandparents, expectant parents and caregivers!

🔥 With Bonfire night looming, preparation is key.
If you feel your horse would benefit from medication to help them through this period then please get in touch.
Other things to help you get ready include:
🐴 Get up to speed with events on in your area so you can prepare for them
🐴 Try to keep horses in their normal routine with their usual companions, familiarity helps to reduce stress
🐴 Risk assess your fields, stables and barns and ensure fencing is secure and remove anything that could cause injury
🐴 Introduce the radio in the barn if you don't already use one before the event, it could help dull the bangs
🐴 Leave stable and barn lights on to help lessen the effect of the flashing of bright light
🐴Familiarise yourself with the yards evacuation and fire protocol
🐴 Try to remain calm and positive for your horse will sense your unease
🐴 If no one is on site during the event consider creating a rota so someone is around
🐴 Ensure stabled horses have a nice deep bed covering the whole floor to prevent any slipping should the horse become startled.
🎆 Report any incidents to the BHS.

MINI HEROES – CHILDREN’S FIRST AID COURSES in Swindon!

🤩Half Term – Tuesday 16th February 2027

🥳Calling all children age 4 years upwards.

❤️‍🩹Come and learn in a fun environment how to act when there’s an accident.

Would your children know how to make an emergency call❓

Would they be able to help stop bleeding with a plaster or bandage❓
With our story based, fun, practical sessions children will learn how to
🦹‍♀️4-6 year olds (1.5 hours)
• Call the emergency services and provide the necessary information
• Apply plasters and bandages correctly and appropriately
🦸‍♂️7 years + (4 hours)
• Call the emergency services and provide the necessary information
• Apply plasters and bandages correctly and appropriately
• How to treat an unconscious casualty
• CPR for adult, child & infant
• Recovery position

🤩Instructor is part of the Skillbase Approved Network of Instructors, Enhanced DBS and safeguarding trained.

🤟Parents encouraged to stay especially with very young children.
