IMPORTANT NOTICE – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

We would like to inform you that a temporary road closure will be in place on Church Street, Mexborough, between Melton Street and Quarry Street, on:

Thursday 2nd July 2026
10:00am – 2:00pm

The closure is required to safely accommodate a funeral service due to the anticipated volume of mourners attending.

Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times. We kindly ask residents and visitors to plan any journeys accordingly and allow extra time where necessary.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this difficult time for the bereaved family.

This closure has been arranged in conjunction with the local authority and appointed traffic management contractor.
