RSV Vaccinations - people have contacted us saying that they have received a letter from NHS England and the nearest place is in Garstang, and have asked if we will be doing them. We do give the RSV vaccine. Please contact us in the usual way and we will book an appointment for you to receive this vaccination.

We are currently moving from Patchs to a new system called Anima for patient messaging and online services. This change will help us gather the right information from you so we can respond more quickly and effectively.

Online Triage (Anima)
We are now using Anima for online triage. You may notice there are more questions than before, but these are designed to help us understand your needs better and ensure you receive the most appropriate care. The questions will also adapt based on your answers.

Andy AI Assistant
Our previous Patchs GP Assistant has been replaced by Andy AI. This service asks more personalised questions to support your request and guide you to the right care.

You can also use Andy AI to request future appointments—simply select the Andy AI option to get started without needing to wait in the phone queue.

Nursing Appointments
If you need to book an appointment with our nursing team (including annual reviews), please continue to contact a Patient Advisor, who will arrange this for you.

Dear Patient,

Your GP practice is one of a group of local practices that are coming together to form a federation of local practices in Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre.

This partnership will allow our practices to work together more effectively — sharing resources, offering more services locally and having a stronger voice in decisions about healthcare in our community.

It will not change your registration with your current GP practice, and your relationship with your own practice will continue as it is today.

Before we decide what this federation should focus on and how it should work, we want to hear from the people who matter most: our patients.
This short survey asks for your honest views about what matters to you about your GP care — what you value most, what you would never want to change and what could be better.

There are no right or wrong answers. Every response will be read and will help shape what this partnership stands for and what it commits to.

The survey takes around 5–8 minutes to complete.

Your responses are anonymous.

They will be analysed alongside the views of GPs, Practice Managers and other health partners, and a summary of what patients told us will be shared with Patient Participation Groups after the analysis is complete.

Thank you for taking the time to have your say.

It's Social Prescribing Day

Thanks to Barbara and Sasha who make up our WIN Social Prescribing & Wellbeing Team

WHAT IS SOCIAL PRESCRIBING?

Many things that affect our health cannot be treated by doctors or medicine alone, like loneliness, isolation or stress due to problems with debt or housing. Social prescribing connects people to non-medical support to address these issues and other unmet needs.

Social prescribing involves understanding the complexities of people’s lives and the inequalities they may face. It can help change the circumstances that make people unwell, and empower people to manage existing health problems. It can help people to connect and to grow in confidence.

If you feel you may benefit from our social prescribing team call our main number on 01253 204 333 and press option 5 to leave a message and they will contact you.
