Abbey Funeral Services has been part of the fabric of the local community in Tonbridge and surrounding towns and villages for over 40 years. We feel privileged to have cared for so many families from Tonbridge, Paddock Wood and Hildenborough to Tunbridge Wells, Rusthall and Langton Green.

Over that time, our family and our team has been active in many groups and charities, forging deep and long-lasting connections and friendships.

And, like you, this is our home. We are lucky to live in a beautiful part of the country with plenty of kind and friendly folk. We’re proud to try and make a difference where we live and support groups that rely on sponsorships and donations to survive and that promote a healthy lifestyle that builds good friendships and wellbeing.

Thank you to our sweet-toothed friends and associates who came along to support our fund-raising recently. We are one of many independent funeral directors the length and breadth of the country who are joining SAIF independent funeral directors, our industry body, in running the biggest coffee morning ever! You came, you drank teas and coffees and you ate cake, and helped us raise more than £360 for Parkinson's UK - a very worthwhile charity. If you’re passing and would like to make a donation, we’ll be collecting until 15 August. No cakes left though!

Our Friends Together Bereavement Support Network will be taking a little summer break, so there won't be a meeting at Rusthall United Reformed Church on Friday 31 July due to staff and volunteer holidays.

We'll be back on Friday 28 August, from 12.00pm–1.30pm, and we're already looking forward to catching up with everyone.

Until then, if anyone from the group would like a chat or needs any support, please don't hesitate to get in touch. We're always here for you, and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.

We’re supporting a nation-wide campaign to run the BIGGEST Coffee Afternoon we can in aid of Parkinson's UK — such a wonderful cause.
The event is backed by the President of SAIF independent funeral directors, our industry organisation. He’s attempting to break previous SAIF fund-raising records. So let’s help him!

The weather has been glorious recently — that is, if you like it hot!
We made the most of the sunshine with our team summer barbecue last week, giving everyone the chance to relax, cool down and enjoy some delicious food, expertly cooked by Monster Foods.
The directors at Abbey organise this as a ‘thank you’ to our caring and hard working team.
