Three Castles 50km Ultra Marathon

From Rochester Castle, along the River Medway, passing the Kent countryside, Allington Castle and Tonbridge Castle

From road to trail, a tumble and a fight with stinging nettles, a niggling Pes Anserine injury that surprisingly didn’t give me a problem on the day (thanks to some Shockwave sessions and taping the knee joint), calves cramping like mad after the 1st 10k that made me stop to do some stretches (thanks to the lady who offered me a Magnesium tablet)... all in all a good day 🙌🏼

1st words to the wifey: “never again, this is my 1st and last ultra...” but now I’m not so sure as I want to avenge the time i slowed down b’coz of the cramps 🤔
