Her Sunday morning lecture, “Oxygen: default setting or evidence-based choice?”, will explore the physiology of oxygen management across a range of exotic species, including small mammals, birds, and reptiles.

Last month, our equipment experts descended on River Farm to attend a 2-day intensive training event, hosted by Mike Pugsley from Mindray Animal Medical in the new Fred Burton conference room.

The team was able to get hands-on with the Veta 5 Plus anaesthesia system, learning about the intelligent software designed specifically for veterinary use, the safety features and benefits of its integrated ventilator, and its easy-to-use, quick start function, ideal for both advanced and novice users.
