Weâre celebrating the recent refurbishment of our Inpatient Unit đ
Thanks to a government grant for capital improvements, weâve been able to make our Inpatient Unit even more welcoming, comfortable and accessible for patients and their families.
The updates include wider doorways to enable easier access to the patio for beds, a new wheelchair ramp at the main entrance, beautiful hand-painted murals, better storage, refreshed colour schemes, new flooring, improved single rooms with en-suites, and enhanced family areas.
These changes also help make the hospice more inclusive, supporting people with a range of needs â including those with mobility challenges, dementia, neurodiverse needs, or sensory sensitivities.
While this funding has helped improve our facilities, itâs ringfenced for buildings and equipment only, so we still rely on the amazing support of our local community to fund the care we provide every day.
