The Space to Become is my 3 pillar method to guide women through the perimenopause identity crisis.

The pillars, Awaken, Nourish and Trust, each build on the last.

Awaken is where you reconnect with you, where you are now, your wants, needs and values, and start to meet the woman you are becoming.

Nourish is your body, your environment, your daily life, and the restorative practices, stillness, reflection, connection to your own intuition, that help you reconnect with your own inner world.

Trust is where it all lands, your inner connection, your voice, your decisions, and the promises you make and keep to yourself.

If you want to start with the first step, comment GUIDE and I’ll send you my free reflection guide, The Woman You’re Becoming🤍

So many women I speak to in perimenopause feel guilty the moment they start wanting time for themselves again.

It makes sense, perimenopause isn’t just hormonal, it’s an identity shift, and that pull toward wanting space, silence, a hobby, or just more for you is a natural part of it.

It’s not something to feel guilty about, it doesn’t undo all the years of showing up for everyone else. It just means it time to start showing up for you too

If this is where you are, I’ve put together a free reflection guide called The Woman You’re Becoming, built for exactly this moment. Comment GUIDE and I’ll send it to you 🤍

One of the unexpected gifts of perimenopause?
Realising how often I’d apologised for simply being human.
For having needs.
For having boundaries.
For taking up space.
For changing.
Maybe this chapter isn’t making us more difficult.
Maybe it’s helping us stop apologising for who we are.
I’d love to know...
What’s one thing you’ve stopped apologising for?
Or what’s one thing you’d like to stop apologising for?
👇🏻Let’s talk about it in the comments 🤍

I woke up sleep deprived, foggy, and completely unmotivated to move. The woman I want to be prioritises moving her body, so I told myself I’d do ten minutes and stop if I still wanted to.

I fully expected to be in child’s pose within ten minutes but as I started to move, I started to feel energised, I didn’t stop after 10 minutes. By the end of the day, I’d made better choices for myself in almost everything, all because I moved first and let the motivation follow.

Motivation isn’t something you wait for, it’s something you build, one small step at a time, one kept promise to yourself.

If you’ve stood in front of the mirror and not recognised the woman looking back, you’re not alone, and you’re not losing your mind. The version of you that used to feel familiar has been shifting for a while now, and nobody tells you that not feeling like yourself is one of the most common experiences of perimenopause.

A 2024 study gave it a name, Not Feeling Like Myself, and found that 63% of women in perimenopause live with it more than half the time. It’s an identity shift, and it deserves its own space, instead of a footnote under hormonal symptoms.

If this resonated, follow for more insights 🤍

For so many women, perimenopause starts with physical symptoms, hot flushes, disrupted sleep, brain fog and anxiety. But I don’t think we talk enough about what happens alongside all of the physical symptoms.

Perimenopause isn’t just a physical transition, it’s an identity transition. For years, you may have been the woman who kept everyone else going, the one who put herself last, who carried the mental load, who said yes when she wanted to say no, who adapted, coped and kept everything moving.

Then something began to shift and life doesn’t feel quite right anymore. The career you’ve work so hard for no longer fulfils you, your relationships start to feel different, the routines that once made sense don’t work anymore, and perhaps for the first time in years, you start asking yourself...

What do I actually want?

I believe it’s a sign that you’re changing and evolving. Maybe perimenopause isn’t asking you to go back to the woman you were, maybe it’s inviting you to become the woman you’re meant to be.

✨ Does this resonate with you?

I’d love to know: what part of your life has perimenopause made you look at differently?

Follow if you’re ready to navigate the identity shift nobody prepares women for 🤍
