I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and I have been specialising in the treatment of knee problems since 2011. My surgical training was all about managing knee injuries and I have considerable experience in performing knee replacement surgery and keyhole surgery. My practice is based on two core values:

2. I believe that knee replacement should be a last resort. Whilst there's been many advances in knee replacement surgery and it is a very safe and effective procedure, replacement joints have a finite life span. For patients under the age of 55-60, I prefer to offer a range of treatments that will preserve your natural knee joint and delay (and in some cases, completely avoid) the need for knee replacement surgery. I use the latest technologies and advanced techniques that utilise your body’s own tissues to help regenerate and revive joints affected by arthritis. I have a team of therapists and we work together to preserve and optimise your knee joint to get you moving and keeping you pain-free. I use healthcare apps and virtual consultations to make sure that you are keeping on track with your progress and will be there for you if you ever have any questions.
