🌟 Meet Vickie Bordoli 🌟
This week, we’re delighted to shine a spotlight onto Vickie Bordoli, a valued member of the team here at Whitby Court Care Home.
Vickie joined us a year ago after an incredible 30-year career in education, working as a Primary School Teacher in towns and cities across the UK and overseas. After moving to Whitby in 2013 to care for her elderly mum, she continued her teaching journey in Goathland before embarking on a new and rewarding chapter in care.
Throughout her career, she has been passionate about supporting the wellbeing of every individual, ensuring their physical, emotional, social, and mental needs are met. That same person-centred approach remains at the heart of everything she does today.
In her role at Whitby Court, Vickie wears many hats! From liaising with residents’ families and organising activities, to overseeing catering and housekeeping teams, planning menus, and managing the day-to-day front desk operations, she plays a vital role in ensuring the home runs smoothly.
Vickie says she is thoroughly enjoying the new challenges her role brings and is proud to be part of the incredible team at Whitby Court, helping to provide the very best care and support for our wonderful residents.
