NWL Health & Wellbeing Roadshow are holding an event at the Ashby-de-la-Zouch Leisure Centre & Lido on Monday 28th September between 12pm-3pm!

The services attending are particularly aimed towards the adult (18+) and older adult populations by providing information about: Social prescribing and connections to local community activities and groups, employment support, physical activity, smoking cessation, eye and hearing care, sleep, mental health and counselling, cancer support, advice for carers, housing and more!!

If your baby is due to be born during the colder winter months they are at a much higher risk of developing severe RSV lung infections🦠🫁.

As soon as you’re 28 weeks pregnant or more🤰🏽you’re eligible for the maternal RSV vaccination which can reduce your baby’s risk of infection by up to 70%

The vaccine is safe, free and effective, speak to your midwife or GP practice for more information.

Appointments can be booked to get vaccinated at a community pharmacy from Monday 13 July 2026.

If you're eligible, you can now get your free MenB vaccine.

MenB can cause serious illnesses like meningitis and septicaemia.

You may be eligible if you are:
✅ 17 to 18 years old and born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008
✅ Under 25 and starting university or moving into residential further education for the first time

Eligible 17 to 18-year-olds born between these dates can book online if they’re registered with a GP in England. Eligible under-25s can get vaccinated at a participating pharmacy – no GP registration is needed.

You'll need 2 doses, given at least 4 weeks apart, for the best protection.
