That’s the first HYROX UK & Ireland event done and dusted! The Birmingham round up is here! ➡️
First up for the team was Michelle Allison competing in her first solos race, with Manchester booked, we’ve now got a time to beat and 12 weeks to work on our weaknesses 🫡
Jonathan Wilkes up next for the team, with Manchester being the priority, this was about seeing where we’re at, now we lock in for the next twelve weeks and work on what we need to for that PB we’re after 🤝
Laura Jane Foran came home with a massive 5:30 PB from Cardiff, Laur’s been trialing something in the pipeline for me alongside smashing TF Widnes classes, the proof is in the pudding for this one!
Zoe Norris & took on the race for the first time as a duo and safe to say Em has caught the bug, definitely won’t be the last time we see the girls together and I’m excited for the future they have in the sport!
Your newest boyband Matt Pilling, James Richardson, Jamie Austin & myself gave it our all in the relay, considering Jay squared ran a doubles the same day, we were chuffed with this one.. yet to tell the fellas there is tickets left for Manchester relay still 👀
Top ten finish for the girls first relay! Absolutely quality performance in Bea Bell’s first Hyrox taster, leahrh13 having to show me up be doing 100 unbroken and ofc the duo of making me as proud as ever.
Andrew Leslie’s first taste of the roxzone came home with an absolute brilliant time, considering andy has come from a running race background, nothing quite compares to running compromised, onto Manchester with a time to beat!
Last minute substitution meant I was drafted in to race with long time team member and now friend Sade, we wanted 1:30 came home in 1:22 with a bit of a push from me, good luck to Connah Evans in Manchester now we’ve set this time!
xkalliereynoldsx’s first taste of Hyrox coming home beating our goal time was the best way to round off this weekend in style! Kal didn’t put a foot wrong and left it all out there. Now you best find a doubles ticket to do it with you mum!
Jennifer Stewart was desperate to beat her Cardiff time, and she absolutely did that, it may have took running al
