We are currently without internet at the surgery, which means our systems are down too. This has been reported to IT as the highest priority but it means we’re unable to access your records, issue prescriptions or help with non-urgent queries at the moment.

⚠️ IMPORTANT SERVICE UPDATE ⚠️

We are continuing to experience significant IT and network disruption due to a major external outage affecting services across Lancashire and Warrington.

This is outside the practice’s control and is affecting access to some of our clinical and administrative systems. Patients may experience delays with appointments, prescriptions, referrals and other requests.

Our team is following its business-continuity procedures and working with the relevant IT providers. Where possible, please only contact the practice today if your request is urgent. Routine requests may take longer than usual.

Please be kind to our staff. They are all working extremely hard to continue providing the best possible care in very difficult circumstances.

For urgent medical help, please use NHS 111 online or call 111. In a life-threatening emergency, call 999.

We will provide another update as soon as we receive more information.

It is being looked into as a matter of urgency by the IT department.

They can assess, diagnose and advise on a wide range of musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions, including:

✅ Arthritis
✅ Muscle and tendon problems
✅ Assessments for / administer joint injections, where clinically appropriate

Our physiotherapist is an expert in musculoskeletal conditions and can help you manage your symptoms, provide exercises and rehabilitation advice and, where appropriate, provide or arrange joint injection treatment, request further investigations, or refer you to specialist services.
