Our amazing Practice Nurse, Charlotte, was out in the community today! She visited a school in Worsley Mesnes to deliver vital training on how to use anaphylaxis pens (Jext pen).

Recent changes mean this lifesaving training is now mandatory for school staff.

We are proud to partner with local schools to ensure teachers and support teams feel confident, prepared, and equipped to protect children in our community in an emergency.

Attention all patients of Marus Bridge Practice!

We want to let you know about an upcoming change to how you contact us online. As part of a Greater Manchester-wide initiative, all GP practices across the region will be transitioning from Ask My GP (or any other platform they currently use) to a new online consultation platform called Accurx.

*What does this mean for you?*
1. We are still on Ask My GP for now: Our current Ask My GP platform remains fully operational, so please continue to use it to reach us for medical and administrative requests.

2. The Switch is Coming: We are working hard behind the scenes to prepare for the migration. Once our new Accurx platform goes live, we will notify you immediately and send a direct link to our new page via text/email.

*Benefits of the New Accurx Platform*
We think you will love the simplicity of the new system! One of the biggest advantages is that you do not need to create an account, nor will you ever have to remember a username or password to submit an online request. Itโ€™s quick, straightforward, and secure.

We want to make sure this transition works smoothly for everyone. If you would like to help shape how this new platform is used by both the practice and our patients, we invite you to join our Patient Participation Group (PPG). Your feedback and input are incredibly valuable to us!
