Sometimes the hardest decision isn't starting something new. It's knowing when to pause something you love.
Over the last few months, I've made the difficult decision to step away from face-to-face group Pilates teaching for now. It wasn't a decision I made lightly, and it certainly wasn't because I stopped caring.
The truth is, life changes. Personally, financially and professionally, I've reached a point where I need to change direction for a while. As many of you know, I've always believed wellbeing isn't just about movement. It's about recognising when life asks something different of us and having the courage to listen.
I've spent years encouraging others to invest in themselves. Now it's my turn to take my own advice and act with integrity.
I never want to teach from a place of exhaustion or simply because I feel I should. If and when I return to face-to-face teaching, I want to do so with the energy, enthusiasm and presence you deserve. Right now, that energy needs to be reserved for other priorities and for rebuilding my own wellbeing.
To everyone who has ever walked into one of my sessions, thank you. You've shared laughter, challenges, achievements and friendships that I'll always treasure. Please know that I miss every one of you more than you'll probably ever realise.
This isn't goodbye. It's simply a different chapter... for now.
I'm quietly working on something that feels much more aligned with where I am in life right nowāa new way of sharing movement, support and guidance that I hope will help people wherever they are. I'll tell you more when the time feels right.
Until then, I'm still here. If you need advice, encouragement or someone to point you in the right direction, you only have to ask. I just need to get myself back on track before I can fully help others do the same.
Sometimes working on yourself isn't stepping away from your purpose. It's protecting it.
Thank you for your kindness, your support and for continuing to be part of this journey with me.
Here's to new beginnings, finding balance again, and remembering that choosing yourself isn't giving up-it's giving yourself the chance to come back stronger š.
