Today Im sitting quiet in gratitude for those ones that walked here before me. Because of them I exist, I am here.
I honour this woman not just today but everday and think of her when there are challenge times, Bárbara Pereira de Alencar, one of my ancestors who made me so proud of the lineage I carry in my blood.
Bárbara de Alencar was a revolutionary heroine recognised as the first female political prisioner fighting for the independence from Portugal. She was kept in prison and tortured.
I wish I would have a pinch of her bravery at a time in history when women didn't have any rights

Throwback to 2018. FEITIÇO DE AYNI

I got a ball of white stoneware clay during a Hunter's full moon back in 2018. I infused

it with the intention of letting go of heavy things in my life that I thought would be impossible to live without, I was living a miserable life, I was depressed

Surrounded by toxic relationships, toxic and malevolent people. I wanted it to change because life is beautiful and full of good lessons too, it was very challenging times for Mr, huge lessons which, today I am grateful for because they shaped me, they made me seek wisdom from my Guides and plant Medicine.

Sometimes magic takes a while to manifest, it didn't happen for me from one Full moon to the next. It took three years, but it's all gone now. ✨️✨️✨️🙏✨️✨️✨️

I honour this piece, she's my darling, it is so special to me. She held my intentions and the pain I went through at that time, capturing them through the clay, the touch, and the strong desire to let go of those moments, people and situations that were painful and uncomfortable and make the changes I wanted

This is my magic. Infusing things with intentions always work. The most important detail in this magic is, infusing your intentions with love, sending good vibes to those people or situations that are hurtful, its so difficult

But works best this way. Never send hate or bad feelings. Forgive before anything else, infuse with love and let go ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️💖💖💖✨️✨️✨️

My heartfelt tribute to Jurema, the Spirit of the Mimosa Tenuiflora tree, an amazing teacher, a wondrous plant medicine that expands consciousness. While her cousin Ayahuasca often steals the spotlight, Jurema holds an unique and powerful spirit, very high in DMT indeed.
A sacred spirit who I connect, honour and love so much ✨️🍃🌱🌿💚✨️

Beyond the medicine, She is the heart of Jurema Sagrada, a beautiful Afro Amerindian syncretic tradition from Northeast Brazil rooted in the ancient practices of the Potiguara, Tabajara, Pankararu, and my loved ones, the Fulni-Ô people.

Enchanted by her tales since childhood, this piece depicts how I have seen Mama Jurema in dreams and shamanic journeys, my loved sacred teacher and her gift to humanity.
