✨🦉🪶Signs and magic ✨🦉🪶

This summer I've been asking Millie for signs on my hikes in the form of an Owl or owl feather.

Every hike, in some form, I’ve seen an owl, sometimes just a fleeting glimpse, sometimes in the distance. So far this summer I have seen two tawny owls in the distance and two barn owl.

I spotted this beautiful owl from quite a distance, but it was Mike who took the photograph.

And when I looked at the photo afterwards, I realised just how incredible the moment was. 🦉

I believe signs can show themselves in many different ways. Sometimes we see them with our own eyes, sometimes we hear them, feel them or simply notice a little coincidence that means something deeply personal to us.

And perhaps Mike was meant to capture this one. 💜

🌸 Slow down and look closer 🌸

There's something quietly special about a garden in full bloom. Each petal unfurling in its own time, each flower turning toward the light without hurry or doubt, nature never asks permission to be beautiful, it just is.

Spending time among the dahlias and phlox this summer has reminded me how healing it is to simply witness growth. No goals, no deadlines, just color, texture, and the gentle hum of bees doing their quiet work.

Peace isn't something we have to chase. Sometimes it's already here, waiting in a garden bed, asking us to breathe a little slower and notice.

🪘✨Another full Poppleton Community Drumming Circle last night. At one point we were joined briefly by some young boys playing on the green. They were inquisitive, polite and said 'it sounds so good!' Their parents should be proud of them.

Our drumming circles are the 3rd Wednesday of every month and start back in September after the summer break.

They are for complete beginners, no musicality is required. Just an open heart. 💜

I facilitate the circles heart led holding space for community, connection, shared joy and individual self expression... Whilst keeping things simple and uncomplicated. 💜✨
