RSV Immunisation for babies:

Heron medical will shortly be offering free immunisation for RSV to babies born between March and August 2026. If you would like your baby to receive the RSV immunisation, please contact the practice to arrange an appointment. Heron Medical is 1 today! It is exactly one year since our practice opened.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our colleagues and members of the community for supporting us during our first year. We also want to give a special thanks to our patients; for their kindness, support and for trusting us with their care.

The Easter break is on the way this weekend, our practice is open on Friday the 3rd of April for normal opening hours. If you require an appointment, please contact the practice or book an appointment through PIPPO. Please note the practice will be closed on Monday due to the bank holiday. I just wanted to say a welcome to the many new patients we have signed up to our clinic in the last month or so. Another GP practice nearby had closed and we have had a lot of people registering.

We continue to welcome new sign ups. The best place to start is on our website at www.heronmedical.ie

We can still occasionally facilitate walk in appointments, but it helps us to keep organised now if people can contact the clinic to make appointments by emailing [email protected] or calling us on 01 9684825. We also have a Pippo app which you can use to book appointments available from your favourite app stores.
