M**f Road, Culdaff

Peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Tom and her eldest grandson Daniel.

Much-loved mother of Catherine, Rita ,Matt & (Denise), and cherished Granny of Enya, Aoife, Alice, James, Johnny, Aidan, and Patrick.

Also Predeceased by her parents, George & Mary Patricia Doherty , and by her brothers, sisters, and in-laws :
The late John & Catherine Doherty ; The late Sister Matthew; The late Kathleen Doherty ; The late Colette and Paddy Doherty ; The late Jim (Shamie) O’Doherty and his surviving wife Mary , The Late Denis (Henry) Doherty and his surviving wife Mary , The late Suzanne Townsend , The Late Patrick (Pat) Doherty and his surviving wife Kathleen, The late Francis and Gerry Murphy and The late Jim Sheridan husband of surviving wife Una.

Mary is survived by her siblings and in-laws ; Una Sheridan, George Doherty , Phyllis Lloyd, and Dick & Moria Townsend , and by her wider family of nieces , nephews, cousins, and God children, and her dear friends and neighbours.

May Mary Rest in Peace.

Mary’s remains will repose at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Matt, and Denise Cunningham, Trescullion, F93 H9R6 (off the M**f Road), on Friday evening from 8.00 p.m. and then on Saturday (11.00 am to 11.00 pm); where everyone is welcome to pay their respects.

Funeral from there will be on Sunday, 23 August, at 10.00 a.m. for Funeral Mass at 10.30 a.m. in St Patrick’s Church, Aughaclay, followed by interment in Bocan Cemetery.

Acknowledgement - Month's Mind Mass.

We, the family of the late Bernard Mc Closkey who sadly passed on the 11th July 2026, would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathised and supported us during our recent heartbreaking loss.

We would like to thank all those who attended the removal, wake and funeral. To those who helped during the wake, those who brought food and served teas, and also those who helped with traffic control, sent mass cards, your kindness and generosity will not be forgotten.

Thank you to Fr Con and Fr Charles Coyle for a lovely funeral service and also Joanne and Finbar for the beautiful music.

Thanks to the gravediggers for preparing and finishing the grave.

Thank you to Dr Falls and all the nurses that called out to see dad and helped support us.

A special word of thanks and appreciation to Eamonn McLaughlin Funeral Director and Liam Collins, for your kindness, compassion and professionalism in carrying out Dads funeral arrangements. Our sincere gratitude to you both for the support and guidance you provided us with throughout this difficult time.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our gratitude and appreciation.

Mary Nolan (Onden) (née Doherty)

Culineen, Redcastle, peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Peter.

Much loved mother of Jackie (Hugh) and devoted granny of Shay, Aran (Arlene), Darragh, Ryan and great-granny of Mya and Jonah.

Predeceased by her parents Tessie and Owen, her brothers Patsy and Bosco and her infant sister Betty.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sisters and brother, Ann, Geraldine, Margaret, Fidelma, Terence, Carmel and Teresa, nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

May Mary Rest In Peace.

Mary's remains will leave Eamonn McLaughlin's Funeral Home Station Road Carndonagh F93 E4FN this evening (Monday) at 5pm going to the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Hugh Kelly, Carnagarve, Moville (F93 YF86) where you are all welcome to pay your respects.

Funeral from there on Wednesday (August 19th) at 11am for 11.30am Requiem Mass in St Columba's Church, Drung followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time from 10pm to 12pm and on the morning of the funeral.
