Have you noticed your mood dipping during perimenopause or menopause? ☕

New research from University College London suggests that physical activity may improve mood, depressive symptoms and quality of life at this stage. Some of the programmes studied were very achievable, including walking for 30 minutes three times a week.

And if your skin has started to look different, with brown spots or a less even tone, this week's Coffee & Menopause explains why not all pigmentation is the same.

This week's Coffee & Menopause covers:

✨ Can movement improve your mood during menopause?
✨ Why brown spots and uneven skin tone become more noticeable as we age
✨ Is exercise being overlooked as part of menopause care?

It's free, it lands in your inbox every Friday, and it's written by women who are going through this stage too.

☕ Coming to your inbox tomorrow...

Do we take enough care of our mental health during perimenopause?

Sleepless nights, heart palpitations, night sweats, fatigue and low moods can affect every part of our lives. It can feel scary and isolating, and it's something we just don't talk about enough.

In tomorrow's Coffee & Menopause newsletter, I'm sharing:

💛 Why this stage can feel so intense
💛 Gentle things that may help your mood and sleep
💛 A simple morning and night skincare routine, because let's admit it, we can all see changes in our face at the start of perimenopause!

You're not alone, and you don't have to figure it out on your own.

Your skin isn't imagining it. It really is drier. ☕
One of the quiet effects of perimenopause and menopause is a natural drop in hyaluronic acid — the stuff that keeps skin, joints, and tissue hydrated. As oestrogen falls, so does this, and a lot of women notice it before anyone tells them why.
This week's Coffee & Menopause newsletter breaks down what may help support it naturally, no gimmicks.
