🎉 Happy 1st Birthday to Clondalkin Community First Responders! 🚑💙
One year ago, on 15 July 2025, a small group of people came together with one simple goal – to build a Community First Responder scheme for Clondalkin.
Twelve months later, we're incredibly proud of what has been achieved.
💙 12 active Community First Responders are now serving our community.
💙 4 AED kit bags are currently deployed with our responders, with more on the way thanks to the incredible support from our 1st Anniversary Raffle and the fantastic grant we have been awarded through the South Dublin County Council Community Development Fund.
💙 Through the generosity of Hanley's SuperValu Rowlagh, their staff, customers and in-store collection bucket, an amazing €1,850 has been raised to support lifesaving equipment for our community.
Over the past year we've trained responders, delivered CPR and Hands for Life education, built partnerships across the community, and been supported by so many people who believed in what we were trying to achieve.
To our committee, volunteers, the National Ambulance Service, fellow CFR schemes, local businesses, community organisations, sponsors, donors and everyone who bought a raffle ticket, shared a post, attended an event or simply encouraged us along the way—thank you. Every contribution has helped us grow into the organisation we are today.
This first year is only the beginning. We look forward to expanding our team, placing even more lifesaving equipment into the community, and continuing to serve the people of Clondalkin whenever we're needed.
