A Proud Moment for Our Community!
The Irish Indian Medical Association(IIMA) is delighted to congratulate Dr. Ashok (Ash) Tahilyani, Consultant Cardiologist, on being shortlisted for election to the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI) Council as Ordinary Councillor (Medicine).
Dr. Tahilyani is a distinguished clinician who has made outstanding contributions to cardiology, patient care, and medical education in Ireland. His dedication to the profession and to the medical community is well recognised and deeply valued.
This is a landmark opportunity for the asian medical community in Ireland to have a strong, experienced, and committed voice within the RCPI Council. Dr. Tahilyani's candidacy reflects the significant contributions our community continues to make to Irish healthcare and his vision is one of inclusivity, professional excellence, and representation for all Fellows and physicians.

• Voting is currently open and closes on Friday, 3 July 2026 at 12:00 noon (GMT)
• Eligible Fellows (FRCPI) will receive a unique email link via Civica Election Services to cast their vote online
