Our team member Sinead was absolutely thrilled to be part of a wonderful training program launched by A. Vogel herbal advisor training programme. For her final project and window display at Ennis Health Store she chose Milk Thistle as her plant ally.

Milk thistle is a beautiful and powerful herb, easily recognised by its purple flower and prickly leaves. It has been traditionally used to support the liver especially in helping the body’s natural cleansing and digestive processes. I found it really interesting to learn about silymarin, the active compound found in Milk Thistle, and how this herb has been valued for liver health for generations.

I really enjoyed creating the window display and wanted it to be both attractive and educational. My aim was to encourage customers to stop, look, and ask questions about milk thistle and its traditional benefits . I hoped the display would bring a little bit of plant wisdom into the heart of the shop and help customers connect with herbs in a simple and meaningful way.
