My next round of COS dates are set and live on my website!
This timing will be supportive for:
Back to school wobbles,
Starting school/pre-school,
Separation anxiety,
Managing transitions,
Big feelings or big behaviours.

I’m running two groups due to high levels of interest. Thank you to everyone who messaged and answered recent polls.
I’ve decided to offer:
A Wednesday evening group. 7:30-9:30pm
And a Friday morning group. 9:45-11.45am
Early booking is advised!
Looking forward to taking two new groups on a deep dive of the Circle of Security!

Friday morning food for the soul!
We had so much fun doing sensory play this morning at Shannon Family Resource Centre
I wish we could all look at the world through the eyes of little ones.
The wonder,
Awe,
Curiosity
Openness and joy…
It’s a delight!!
Thanks to all who came to share in the play and very special thanks to Martina, Olga and Daniel who helped me to clean up afterwards!!!

For Parents and Professionals Working with Children Imagine your kitchen is on fire. Smoke fills the air, the alarm is screeching, and in a panic, you grab the fire extinguisher and aim it straight at the smoke alarm. The beeping stops. Silence. For a moment, it feels like you've done something. But...

This idea came to me when I was arranging some roses a vase! 💐
Lessons from nature inspired by a well known activity called The Rose, bud & Thorn. I think it originated with the Boy Scouts as a mindfulness and reflective tool but I’m open to correction on that!
I have adapted it here with a few of my own extra little twists..
I find this really helpful for:
🌹Personal reflection and self-development
💐Parenting reflections in my parent support work and workshops.
🏵️Reflecting on how things are going at The Swallow’s Trail and my plans for it as a business. This is where women like are a great support to me!
Please leave me a 🌹 in the comments if you find it supportive!

Just for fun!!!🤣🤣🤣
Potion-making nostalgia here this morning!
‘We don’t stop playing because we grow old- we grow old because we stop playing!’
So I absolutely dumped excessive amounts of baking powder, washing up liquid and lime essential oil (because it smells waaaaay better than vinegar and cuts through grease!!) to make a boring job just a little bit more fun!!✨
Leave me a 🌋in the comments if you loved doing this as a child!

We are not just here to raise our children,
Their wisdom, authenticity and sense of connection to themselves are very often what raises us and fuels our growth as humans too! 🌱🪴🌳
The older I get (I’m 50 next year!)
And the longer I work with parents, children and families (almost 30 years now 🫶)
the more deeply engrained this becomes as one of my core values in Parent Support!
Please share with me in the comments,
What have your children been teaching you?

Big feelings can be highly contagious…
The good news is regulation can be contagious too!
Getting to know our own ‘shark music’ and understand our own reactions and sense of overload as parents means that we can have new choices about how to respond…..
If you’d like 1:1 online support with this or you’d like to know when my next 8 Week Online Circle of Security Parent Group starts, please get in touch!
