Parents are being asked to avail of free immunisation to protect babies against Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) immunisation as it is rolled out from Tuesday.

Minister for Health, Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD, has today announced the roll-out of a national medicine disposal service in community pharmacies around Ireland, find out more at gov.ie/mediback.

The RSV season in Ireland is usually from September to February. Immunisation against RSV is the best way to protect your baby. This immunisation is called Nirsevimab.

We are offering free RSV immunisation to:
Babies born between 1 March 2026 and 31 August 2026

We will send an invite to all eligible babies in this cohort so please click the link to book into one of our upcoming clinics.

All babies born from September 1st 2026 will be offered Nirsevimab in the hospital setting.

Babies will now be offered immmunisation against RSV. RSV is a common virus that causes coughs and colds.

To combat our occasionally unstable internet we are installing a fibre cable for broadband. There may be some internet disruption while this happen. We apologise sincerely for any potential issues this may cause today and perhaps Monday but this will be better for us all going forward if we have a successful installation. A disruption in signal will effect our phone lines so if you can't leave a message for us, this will most likely be the cause. You can book an appointment/order a prescription through the Chatbot or Portal and you can message us directly through the Chatbot.

Hopefully any disruption will be minimal but trust that we are here and open and that the Chatbot is your friend!

We want to thank our patients for their patience! We've had a very challenging time since last Friday morning without WiFi but it has now been repaired and it is business as usual here. Our phone lines are open again so please feel free to call us and leave a message if you can't get through. There is a massive backlog of requests, emails and messages but we will get through it all.
