As part of the Green Team at Kennedy Road, service users have been participating in online courses in collaboration with the National Biodiversity Data Centre of Ireland. As part of the group’s service goals for 2026, the team set out to expand their knowledge and understanding of Ireland’s biodiversity.

So far this year, the group has successfully completed four courses: A Beginner’s Guide to the Nomad Bees of Ireland, A Beginner’s Guide to the Leafcutter Bees, Ireland’s Farmland Birds, and An Introduction to Spiders of Ireland.

The group has worked extremely hard throughout the year and shown great commitment to learning about and appreciating the natural world around them. Building on this progress, the Green Team has now enrolled in its next course, How to Identify Ireland’s Butterflies, continuing its journey towards developing a greater understanding of Ireland’s rich biodiversity. 🦋🐝🐦‍⬛

We are so incredibly lucky to have such creative people here at Prosper!

Over at Haggard Street, the guys have been busy crafting spooky pieces for Halloween and put together some absolutely lovely arrangements. Meanwhile, at Emmet Street, Paula showed off her fantastic skills by creating a beautiful piece as a gift for a loved one.

Sharing our talents brings so much joy to our centers, keeps our minds active, and gives everyone a wonderful sense of pride in their work. Well done everyone, keep up the amazing creativity! 👏🍁🎃

We've been getting into the autumn spirit here in Beechmount, with service users busy creating their own beautiful autumn wreaths! Lots of lovely colours, creativity and individual touches went into each wreath, with everyone putting their own spin on their creations. A lovely way to spend time together and bring a little autumn colour into the service! 🍂🧡

What a fantastic day out at the Cavan Centre for our bonding Trip 2026! Our Leighsbrook group had an action-packed bonding trip filled with adventure, fun, laughter, and plenty of new experiences! We got involved in an amazing range of activities, including rock climbing, cave exploring, the fairy walk and trail, go-karting, zip lining, and archery. There was something for everyone, and it was fantastic to see everyone getting involved, trying new activities, supporting one another, and enjoying the day together. A huge well done to everyone who took part and made it such a memorable day. Days like today are all about adventure, independence, building confidence, trying new things, and, most importantly, having fun together!
A huge thank you to all the staff in the Cavan Centre for making us feel so welcome, especially Tony, Johnny, and Darren. ❤️.

The group here at Beechmount has been working hard to perfect their self-defence skills, and all that practice is really paying off! Beyond learning vital personal safety, these sessions are fantastic for building physical strength, improving coordination, and sharpening reflexes.
It has been incredible to see everyone grow in confidence, sharpen their techniques, and thoroughly enjoy every session, all thanks to the brilliant support from Ronan. There is always plenty of focus, determination, and a good bit of fun along the way!🥋

A Massive Thank You!

A huge thank you to Colin and Eithne from the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, who recently took the time to visit us here in Canon Row to present the guys with a cheque for the money they raised during our Jersey Day.

The Jersey Day was held in memory of our dear friend Alan, a true Dublin supporter, and it was wonderful to see everyone come together to remember Alan while raising money for such an important cause.

We are so proud of the guys and everyone who got involved and helped make the day such a success. Your generosity and support meant so much.

A very special thank you again to Colin and Eithne for coming along to Canon Row and for all the incredible work the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust does.

Jack in our Emmet Street service recently celebrated his 21st birthday. Jack marked this special occasion by having a trip out with some of his friends where they enjoyed a lovely lunch. Jack also had a party in Emmet Street where staff and his friends celebrated with him. Happy Birthday Jack from all in Prosper. 🎉🎂

Over the past few months, everyone in the Ashbourne Service has been busy revamping and planting flowers in Ashwood Housing Estate. It has been a fantastic opportunity to get involved in the Ashbourne community and make a positive difference.
A huge thank you to the Ashwood Residents’ Committee for allowing us to be part of this wonderful project. We look forward to continuing it every year!

Kate, Stephan, Luke and Anthony were delighted to invite Mary Yore, Gaisce Development Officer to Prosper Watergate Street to present them with their Bronze and Silver Gaisce Awards. They were also joined by their families who were so proud of their achievement. A huge well done and congratulations to each participant for putting in such hard work to achieve these awards. We are looking forward to seeing each of them continue the process in achieving future awards. ⭐
