We're delighted to share a look at our beautiful new home in the heart of Co. Kerry, thoughtfully designed to provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for adults with intellectual disabilities and autism.

Set in a peaceful rural location with easy access to nearby amenities, the spacious four-bedroom home has been designed with accessibility, independence and quality of life at its core. With generous living spaces, accessible ground-floor bedrooms, a large kitchen and dining area, and a beautiful garden, every aspect of the home has been carefully considered to support the people who will live there.

We're excited about what this new service will bring and look forward to creating a place where people can feel at home, build independence and thrive within their community.

Collaboration, connection and shared learning at its best! đź’™

Recently, colleagues from both Orchard Residential Care and Orchard Community Care came together to complete the two-day Autism & SPELL Framework training programme.

Over the two days, participants shared experiences, exchanged ideas and learned from one another, with fantastic engagement and contributions throughout.

Trainer PJ Ryan reflected on the experience, saying:
“One of the key reflections from colleagues was how valuable it was to train together and hear about each other’s experiences across different services.”

Bringing colleagues together in this way not only strengthens knowledge and skills but also helps build stronger connections across our services, ensuring the best possible outcomes for the people we support.
