Maybe you’re not lazy. Maybe you’re just running on empty.

Burnout doesn’t always look like working 12-hour days and completely falling apart. Sometimes, it looks like procrastinating, struggling to start simple tasks, losing motivation, or needing far more rest than usual.

Before you call yourself lazy, pause and ask:

“Am I unwilling to do this - or do I simply not have the capacity right now?”

The difference matters.

If even the smallest tasks feel like too much lately, maybe it’s worth talking to someone about what’s going on. Sometimes, a little support and the right tools can make it easier to understand what’s really going on and what might help 🤍

Therapy doesn’t make difficult emotions or situations disappear. It can give you the space, support, and tools to navigate them - and slowly build better ways of responding.

Over time, that can look like stronger boundaries, more self-trust, clearer communication, and a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

Sometimes, that can make a bigger difference than we realise 🤍

🌀The Circles Series | Part 4: Emotional Healing

Healing isn’t always about moving on. Sometimes, it’s about noticing the patterns we’ve been carrying and learning to respond to differently.

What emotional healing involves:* Recognising patterns we need to heal from.• Challenges that come up when we start changing them.• Practices that can help us move through the process.

Healing can feel uncomfortable. It can bring up vulnerability, uncertainty, grief, or the need to let go.

But recognizing these patterns can help us understand that healing isn’t about becoming a different person overnight. It’s about creating space for something healthier, one step at a time.

This carousel is a simple visual guide to help you recognize some of the patterns and challenges that can come with emotional healing, and explore practices that may support you along the way.

Save this post for when you need a reminder to be a little more patient with yourself, and share it with someone who might need it too🫂

Self-doubt can creep in more easily than we realise. And sometimes, one doubtful thought can turn into a whole series of them - slowly chipping away at our confidence.

What shapes Self-Doubt:
• Confidence killers that make us question ourselves.
• Doubt thoughts that keep the cycle going.
• Confidence builders that help us challenge those thoughts.

When we can recognize these patterns, we can start separating what we think from what is actually true - and respond to self-doubt differently.

This carousel is a simple visual guide to help you recognize the thoughts and patterns behind self-doubt, and explore small ways to build confidence.

Save this post for the next time self-doubt gets loud, and share it with someone who might need the reminder 🫂

🌀 The Circles Series | Part 2: Burnout

Burnout doesn’t happen overnight. It’s often a cycle that builds quietly over time.

It can start with patterns like:
• Constant pressure to perform.
• Saying yes to everything.
• Never taking breaks.
• Not giving yourself enough time to recover.

Over time, these can show up as warning signs - exhaustion, irritability, brain fog, losing motivation, or feeling detached.

Recognizing these patterns early can help us pause before we reach empty.

This carousel is a simple visual guide to help you notice the signs, understand what might be contributing to burnout, and make space for recovery.

Save this post as a reminder that rest is part of taking care of yourself - not something you have to earn 🫂
